About Us

1987:
Cameron and Hayley meet for the first time as 2 year olds.
1991:
Cameron receives his first set of stitches while on the way to Hayley's Birthday Party, therefore missing the party (probably for the best since he was the only boy invited...Hayley had a crush on Cameron even back then).
1992:
Cameron moves away to Utah. Hayley is heart broken.
1994:
Hayley moves to the same Utah town as Cameron. (A happy coincidence or destiny?)
2004:
Cameron asks Hayley to their Senior Prom. Their first date.
2004:
Hayley moves to New York to study fashion design at FIT. While in school, she starts a custom drawn sneaker company named H.P. Lovecraft NYC.
2004:
Cameron moves to Toronto, Canada. Every week, they send hand-written love letters across the border.
2006:
Finally, Cameron moves to New York to "go to school" but really to chase Hayley.
2007:
At the park bench where they first held hands, Cameron asks Hayley to marry him (she of course said yes!)
2008:
Cameron and Hayley are married, and Hayley's name changes to Parker-Barker.
2008:
Hayley finds out she is pregnant!
2009:
A little nervous to have a baby, they move back to Utah to be near family.
2009:
Ender is born, and he is a radical, mellow baby. Hayley and Cameron are less nervous.
2011:
After Ender has become very tech savvy, Cameron and Hayley venture into the children's market with their first kids iPhone App, Valentine Zoo (35 sold, it was a hit!) and also figured out they liked working together.
2011:
Having been frustrated in all boys clothes shopping experiences, they hit their tipping point when the only suit they could find was ill-fitted and had shoulder pads.
2011:
Culdesac launches! A line of clothing designed for boys and parents who want well-fitted, creatively designed, good looking clothing that doesn't have shoulder pads or graphics of cartoons on them.

We are proud to say that every step from design to shipping is done by local hands in our community. We have worked extra hard to seek out a means of manufacturing our clothing locally. We love working in our community. We have found an amazing team of talented women who sew from home. Not only are we helping mothers work from home but we love being able to oversee the quality of our product more closely.

Free Shipping

We set out with a goal for Culdesac to have free shipping. Taking away the cost of shipping gives everyone the chance to try our clothes out like they were at a store and ship them back if they aren't just quite right. (We doubt that will happen).


International sales shipping will be discounted.

Returns/Exchanges

We know how it goes with kids clothes, sometimes things don't work or maybe you ordered 2 sizes to see which fit better. That's why we have tried to make it as easy to shop online with us as possible and included a free return shipping label (excludes international orders).

So if you have a return, see below to find which option fits you best. Then, simply fill out the form.

Returns: The fit just isn't right, the color doesn't match, or you're child refuses to wear anything without Elmo. We understand.
You may return products purchased at Culdesackid.com for any reason for a refund of the purchase price of the product. To receive your full refund the return must be accompanied by a copy of your original order receipt, and the products must be clean, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, unaltered and in their original saleable condition and packaging with the tags still attached (as applicable). Returns are accepted within fourteen (14) days of initial delivery of the product to you by Culdesac's carrier. After the fourteen day window you will receive an in-store credit.

Exchanges: You bought the navy suit, but your child just can't live with out the dinner jacket. Let's exchange it.
You may exchange products purchased at Culdesackid.com for any reason. To receive an exchange the exchange must be accompanied by a copy of your original order receipt, and the product(s) must be clean, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, unaltered and in their original saleable condition and packaging with the tags still attached (as applicable). Exchanges are accepted within fourteen (14) days of initial delivery of the product to you by Culdesac's carrier.

Defective/Damaged: You received your box in shreds from the post. Or your product arrives with the collar on the elbow. Let us fix the mistake.
If you've received a product that doesn't comply to your standard of quality, or it arrived damaged, please let us know as soon as you discover the issue. We will fix it and replace it. Defective and/or Damaged products are accepted within fourteen (14) days of initial delivery of the product to you by Culdesac's carrier. After the fourteen day window you will receive an in-store credit.

Yes, we ship internationally! And even give a discounted rate to those who would like to help us out. See Free Shipping for more details. Please know that will will not be held responsible for any delays in shipping including local delivery errors or international Customs issues. The receiver will be responsible for all axes and Customs duties. Overseas are subject to local import duties and taxes, which are payable by the customer upon receipt and may be affected by Customs and Excise delays.
